Identity mapping
There is no dedicated public UUID for a configuration row: the E.164 phone_number is the primary lookup key, with the numeric id column resolving as a fallback once a row exists. The assistant relation joins on vapi_assistant_id (the upstream routing target) rather than the local assistant_id foreign key, because the number's real assignment lives on the live voice platform and assistant_id can briefly lag behind it.
